Dear Friends,

Many, many "thank you's" to all of you who sent donations for the Alabama land down payment-Sara Martin; Gail, Bob and David Brown, who also sent two Home Depot gift cards and a lovely note; Lee and Laura Mitchell; Elmer Bryant; Deceased Pet Care; Mel Mond; Nancy Denison; Tonya Graney-a Home Depot gift card; the Mecalfs; Lois Holbrook; and Tony and Laura Rivera (gift card). We also received donations in Alabama from several people that were not specifically earmarked for the down payment, which we deeply appreciate.

Because of your generosity, we have been able to make the down payment. Now, our challenge is to make sure the monthly payments are made in full and on time. The schedule is:

1. For the first 12 months, payments of $1,500 per month;
2. After the first year, payments of $200 per month.

These payments are, of course, over and above the normal costs of running the shelter. We would very much appreciate help with these-especially pledges to make donations each month specifically for this purpose.

REMEMBER--Your checks may still be made to All CATS, Inc., even when sent to the Alabama address, which is:

Carolyn Keeton
4907 23rd Blvd
Valley, AL 36854

Donations to help with anything involved with the land and/or general expenses for the Alabama location should be sent to this address. However, money sent to the Dawsonville Post Office address and meant for helping with Alabama expenses will be used for that purpose.

Please Note-These numbers do NOT include the special donations made for the land purchase.
In November, our donation income totaled $4,184.65. Our expenses totaled $4,271.22 . A preliminary look at December as of the 26th indicates income should exceed expenses by about $350. That means income and expenses will be approximately even for the calendar year. On the face of it, that sounds acceptable. However, we always depend on December being the best donation month of the year and providing a cushion for January and February (traditionally the lowest donation months of the year). We must count on all of you to continue providing for our animal friends through these lean months.

Since our last report, we have received donations for veterinary care from Dr. Robert Klingbeil, Jane Johnson, Thomas Sharpe, Avis Buchanan, Renee Merback, Dena Roesler and Patricia Stephens. We ask that you consider a gift to this fund-so our animals will NEVER have to suffer for lack of medical care. You may donate toward veterinary care in any one of the following four ways:

* Sending us a check made out to Murrayville Veterinary Clinic for whatever amount you wish to contribute OR
* Sending a check made out to ALL C.A.T.S., Inc. indicating the donation is to be used for general veterinary expense.
* Send a check directly to Murrayville Veterinary Clinic, P.O. Box 406, Murrayville, GA 30564. Be sure to indicate that it is to be applied to the All C.A.T.S., Inc. account.
* To donate online, visit our web portal (, and click on Vet Expenses under our How You Can Help menu.
* Then, select Veterinary Expenses and you'll be able to pay online instantly using your credit card and/or checking account.

Since our last report, we received 313 stamps (vs. 220 needed) from Robert & Connie Rice, Jamie Reagin, Anonymous, Elly Meyer, Robert Salzman, Elinor Eaves, Nancy Caravello, Carolyn Lowe and Benjamin Jones. Special thanks to Benjamin, who sent 200 stamps PLUS a very generous donation. We have a great start on stamps for next month's letter!! Our goal is to never have to spend shelter money on stamps-so keep them coming!!

* To Carol Clenney for her continuing sponsorship of one of our shelter kitties plus a donation for fuel expenses.

* To Kathy Spiker for her continuing on-line sponsorship of PIGSY TAIL.

* To Laura Richardson for her continuing on-line sponsorship of BLACKIE

* To the Baldaufs for their donation "for PUTTER."

* To Pattie Reber, Renee Merback, Maryland Timmerman and Rabeth Walker and Fred & Margaret Mitchell for taking the time to include notes with their donations. Your kind words mean a great deal to all of us.

* From David Dennis "on behalf of CAROLE MALONE."

* From Warren Semmes "for PAT WATTS."

* From Peter and Joan Bone "in memory of KELLY AND FRANKIE."

* From Barbara Johnson "in memory of PRECIOUS, who died last week. She was almost 15, and I guess her little heart just gave away. We loved her so much! We lost her brother last year to cancer. When asked what breed they were, we said "RACs" and, when asked about the breed, we told them they were Royal Alley Cats. I still have two other stray cats we took in plus two stray dogs. They're all so beloved, and we miss them so much when they go. There are no words to explain how much joy our animals bring-or how much sadness when we lose them."

* From Elly Meyer "in memory of a dear man, JACK SEABAUGH, whose wife is my best friend. He died December 4. He loved dogs."

From Benjamin Jones "in honor of my beloved friend, JUDITH ALEXANDER. She was a cat lover. She was an animal lover. Hope 2005 is a better year for all."

10. Any type of animal medicine.
11. We received from Virginia Cuen ( the following plea:

"Would you please ask in your newsletter if anyone in the Stone Mountain Park vicinity can feed some cats there at the Grist Mill area near the large covered picnic area. There are about nine cats there that are only sporadically fed. It would be a great boon to the cats to have regular feeding provided."

If you have any questions, please email Virginia at the above address.
